CoreMems is a private memory journal app designed to help parents capture meaningful moments — one a week, 52 weeks a year. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.
CoreMems is operated by Tim Rutter, a sole proprietor based in the United States.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the app’s core functionality.
Information you provide directly:
- Email address — used to create and authenticate your account
- Your name — displayed in the app greeting (optional)
- Voice recordings — captured when you record a memory; stored securely in your private account
- Photos — selected from your device’s camera roll; stored securely in your private account
- Written captions and tags — text you type when saving a memory
- Memory dates — the date you associate with each memory
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to operate CoreMems:
- To authenticate your account and keep your memories private
- To store and display your memories within the app
- To deliver weekly reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
- To calculate your weekly memory count and progress
