Layer 1: Physical / Link

• [ ] Are interfaces up?
• [ ] If down, check CML links, interface configs, or use no shutdown.

Layer 2: Encapsulation

• [ ] Verify encapsulation (should be Ethernet by default).
• [ ] Check for errors on interfaces.

Layer 3: IP Addressing & Routing

• [ ] Are IP addresses and subnet masks correct?
• [ ] Is the default route set to the ASA?
• [ ] Can you ping the ASA and LAN devices?
• [ ] Is OSPF enabled on the correct interfaces?
