After you've visualized yourself achieving something, or being someone, it's important to start engaging your feelings and emotions. The mind doesn't distinguish between what's real or not, which explains why you may have visceral experiences while watching a horror film, even though it's all fictional and on-screen.
As a result, by emotionalizing your future, you start bringing that state into your conscious reality now.
When we first brought this idea into The Pack, someone mentioned that entrepreneur Danielle LaPorte used something similar called Core Desire Feelings. According to Danielle, "Core Desired Feelings are fundamental feelings that many of us long for and identify with at some point in our lives." So these feelings could include: acceptance, momentum, masterful, cosmic, devotion, truth, or even ethereal.
You can then take these words and combine them to make them even more impactful. So say for example your two focus areas for a quarter were: build a 6-pack and land a new client. You could look at Danielle's list and combine two words like radiance + spirit. These now becomes two "power words" that you can use to remind yourself of the state you want to be in.
