Some sites use custom-built banners that aren't covered yet. You can report the site using the link below and it will be added in a future update.

Does this extension slow down page loading?

No. The script runs after the page has loaded and only scans for cookie banners — it has no impact on page load performance.

Does Cookie Refuser collect any of my data?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser. No data is sent anywhere, ever.

The extension stopped working after a browser update — what should I do?

Try disabling and re-enabling the extension from your browser's extensions page. If that doesn't help, report it below.

Can I temporarily disable it for a specific site?

Not per-site yet — but you can toggle the extension off entirely from the popup and turn it back on when you're done.

Will this work on every website?

Cookie Refuser covers the most common consent management platforms and supports banners in 9 languages. Occasionally a site will use a highly customized banner that isn't recognized. These can be reported and added.
