Contributor License Agreement (CLA) + Community License

Thank you for considering contributing to the Bullets & Brimstone project!

This project is intended to be built by the community, and we want your work to shine and the project to grow. To make sure everything stays clear and fair, here’s how contributions are handled:

1. You Keep Ownership

• You still own your contribution.
• If you create a monster, adventure, map, drawing, or story, it’s legally yours.

2. License to the Project (CLA)

By submitting your work, you grant Mitchell Smallman a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Use, edit, and adapt your contribution.
• Distribute it as part of the official Bullets & Brimstone project.
• Include it in future free or commercial editions (e.g. deluxe versions, anthologies, or charity bundles).

This ensures the project can grow and curate a strong “official” version.

You will always be credited when your content is used (under your chosen name, handle, or pseudonym).

3. License to the Community (CC-BY-NC 4.0)

At the same time, all contributions are also released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC-BY-NC 4.0).

This means:

• Other fans can reuse your contribution in their non-commercial fan content (adventures, hacks, actual plays, etc.), as long as they give you credit.
