Short outcome: Automated a repetitive wage calculation workflow to cut down manual effort and reduce the risk of errors in contract wage sheets.

• What problem existed

  Manual wage calculations were spread across spreadsheets and ad-hoc formulas. This caused frequent errors, slow updates, and poor traceability.

• Who the users were

  People responsible for calculating contract wages, often non-technical operators working in spreadsheets.

• Why it was worth solving

  Errors in wage calculations have direct financial and trust implications. The process was also time-consuming and hard to hand over to someone new, making it a strong candidate for a focused MVP.

Problem Statement

Manual wage calculations were handled across multiple spreadsheets and custom formulas. This led to:

• Frequent copy-paste and formula errors.
• Time-consuming updates when contract parameters changed.
• Difficulty understanding or reviewing how final numbers were produced.

Users needed a simple way to input key parameters once and reliably generate wage sheets without constantly editing or debugging formulas.
