Stellium is a series intended for adult audiences 18 and older for :

β€’ genre-typical violence,

β€’ drug mention & abuse,

β€’ psychological horror,

β€’ mature language, themes, and sexual content.

This is a story about characters with questionable morality at best who will often make a lot of sometimes selfish mistakes. Some characters are even blatant and self-aware in their acts of cruelty toward others. Characters doing horrible things, saying horrible things, advocating for horrible things, or even using horrible humor as coping mechanisms for their own traumas are not intended to be taken as the author’s opinions/thoughts/sentiments.

There are some subjects & themes that are simply pervasive parts of these characters’ lives, where ripple effects of said topics are always ghosting in the background, no matter how much a character is trying to mask or detract from it.

If any of these subjects or themes hits too close to home, please do not push yourself through such content. Take care of your mental health first, read & consider the trigger warnings, disengage with this content if needed.

Potentially Triggering Subjects & Themes Present in Stellium Include:

β€’ Mental illness, emotional instability, and mishandled/abusive treatment of mental illness or neurodivergence.

β€’ Substance addiction and drug abuse, struggling with addiction.

β€’ Parent on child abuse; many characters in this story have pasts with physical or psychological abuse endured from parents or caretakers.

β€’ Cannibalism & obsessive/intrusive phobias of cannibalism expressed in ways similar to intrusive thoughts for some characters.

β€’ Religious traumas, cultists, and characters with childhood traumas related to growing up near or in cultist activity. Religious manipulation and gaslighting.

β€’ Symbolophobia; symbols, patterns, the implication of potential conspiracy and the brand of detachment from reality specific to fears of conspiracy.

β€’ Stalking, disordered attachments, and depiction of obsessive or co-dependent relationship habits in certain characters.

β€’ Genre-typical violence and gore / body horror, certain subject-centric phobias. Trypophobia; while Stellium isn’t particularly gory, there are some graphics that touch on certain visual phobias. Thalassophobia and claustrophobia are also recurring themes. Immolation; death by fire.

β€’ Unreality, nested dreaming/false awakenings, dissociation, paranoia and gaslighting.

β€’ The line between what’s really happening and what’s not gradually becomes blurred for some characters and the progression is intended to be abrasive.

β€’ Some points of the story are also handled by explicitly untrustworthy narrators which only serves to fuel the paranoia of characters most sensitive to these harms.

β€’ Because of the very specifically disruptive nature of these particular triggers, I would advise anyone sensitive to these subjects not to read Stellium, as they feature heavily in the story.

β€’ Themes, actions, or character behaviors that may be triggering to readers sensitive to topics of disordered eating. Some characters at points may appear in emaciated states or be pushed into extreme situations that may be uncomfortable for readers who have experienced eating disorders.

β€’ Inappropriate humor/dark humor that may come off to the reader (and to some surrounding characters) as questionable or problematic. These are people who are very traumatized and/or fucked up by growing up with shitty people. They’re handling it how they handle it. Some characters may genuinely not be aware that their reactions are inappropriate.
