The Cave

This production features a raised T-shaped stage just barely wide enough for 4 people to stand shoulder to shoulder at its narrowest point. The top of the T is furthest, spanning 4 meters across and set 6 meters back against a brick wall painted black.

At floor level tucked in directly beside the stage, musicians are set up, filling the space on the left. The 6 musicians are spaced out and surrounded by gear including a piano and multiple keyboards. Banjo playing musician John Millard acts as the Host for the evening. He sits on a stool directly beside the stage. Striped red cloth is draped across various music stands surrounding him.

The Set

There are no physical set pieces in the show. In one song a short stool is used.

Lighting and special effects

The stage floor is opaque and white. At times it glows red, blue, or purple. Red lighting effects are sometimes used when fire is mentioned and at times, special effect smoke makes the air smokey, foggy, or hazy.
