Caffy is a creative platform where you build living characters, write scenarios, and build interactive stories with AI. We believe great storytelling can venture into dark, complex, and ambiguous territory where the most powerful fiction lives.

The purpose of these guidelines is to build a safe, fun space in which we can all find, create, and enjoy AI experiences on Caffy. "Content" refers to anything created or uploaded on Caffy, including but not limited to characters, scenes, scenarios, posts, images, and comments.

1. Content Rating

Every creator is expected to set appropriate content ratings for their published content based on the content ratings below.

Teen (T)

Content suitable for users aged 13 and up. Comparable to ESRB T / MPAA PG-13 / PEGI 12+

Violence & Danger

• Fantasy or stylized violence where death is possible but not graphic.
• Action and peril with high stakes — survival is uncertain but hope remains.
• Adventure stories in the vein of The Lord of the Rings or The Dark Knight.
• Injury depicted without gore or excessive detail.

Romantic & Relationships

• High school drama, first romance, flirtation, and attraction
• Physical affection appropriate in public settings (holding hands, a first kiss).
• Relationship conflict and drama with emotional stakes that teens can relate to.
• References to cohabitation or shared living without sexual focus.
• Mild jealousy, growing apart, communication problems — relatable, not traumatic.
• Brief, non-explicit descriptions of physical attractiveness.
• Authority-gap attractions (e.g. senior/junior students) where clear boundaries are maintained.
