Staffing updates from Tim: Alex, Nayomi, Tasha, Beatrice. Sarah is leaving the project, and Stefania and Carol going on parental leave. Spending on staff, on the understanding that it is likely staffing costs will even out towards the end of the project. Piecemeal contracts are complex and require further resource to manage them. Doesn’t always develop staff strongly, but it is a problem across the board for the TaNC projects, and even the TaNC Directorate. Co-I time is also difficult - we agreed that being able to account for more Co-I time, so they are not only able to engage on a fractional basis, would be really productive.
