Policy

If a dCOM member feels they cannot fairly evaluate a candidate based on the information they have, they shall voluntarily recuse themselves. If the dCOM member is a family member of the candidate or person being discussed, they will recuse themselves.

Procedure

• The member will remove oneself from the discussion and voting by leaving the room.
• For an online meeting, the member will exit to a waiting room or exit the meeting until the discussion and voting on the candidate is completed.
