HomeExchange allows members to stay in other members’ homes, either through reciprocal exchanges or using GuestPoints. The platform operates on an annual membership model of $235 (USD) that allows for unlimited exchanges. The community is built on trust and reciprocity that fosters authentic, local travel experiences.
Reciprocal Exchange (or Classic Exchange):
“You come to my house, and I go to yours”
Two members exchange each other’s homes simultaneously or on different dates. There usually is no exchange of GuestPoints.
Non-Reciprocal Exchange :
If a member doesn’t want to stay at your home, offer GuestPoints they can use for future travels.
💡 80% of exchanges on HomeExchange use GuestPoints.
Hospitality Exchange :
A member offers a suite or a room in their home (usually while they are present) in exchange for GuestPoints.
