Compose Anything

Compose Anything allows you to prompt AI to write anything for you. Simply type // in your document or textbox to pull up the Compose Anything interface. Compose Anything currently works in Google Docs & Gmail, with more sites coming soon.

When writing a prompt to the AI, imagine you’re talking to a real copywriter. If you were talking to a real writer, you would need to tell them two things:

A thing you want written (like a paragraph, sentence, headline, song, advertisement, etc)
What that thing should be about (like about dogs, or cheese, or Gandalf etc)

The more specific and direct you are in the prompt, the better your results will be. So have fun and experiment!

Autocomplete

The primary feature in the Compose.ai extension is Autocomplete. Anywhere you see our icon in the bottom right, you can simply type and Compose.ai will display suggestions as gray text. If you wish to take that suggestion, press the Tab key or Right Arrow key.

If you want to hide a suggestion, you can click out of the text area or press Left Arrow or Escape. Even if a suggestion is being displayed, we will remove it before sending an email, message, or otherwise submitting the text on a website.
