What qualifies as a relevant competitor
A relevant competitor is any product or platform that:
- Systematically collects public web or social data at scale
- Applies AI or rule-based processing to extract structured signals
- Delivers brand, market, or competitive insights to B2B users
- Operates as a repeatable system, not a one-off research service
This includes platforms focused on brand monitoring, visual intelligence, competitive research, and structured data extraction.
What is explicitly excluded
The following are excluded from this analysis:
- Pure performance analytics tools (ads optimization, attribution, ROAS tracking)
- CRM, marketing automation, or sales ops tools without native data collection
- Influencer marketplaces focused only on creator discovery or payouts
- One-off custom scraping agencies without a productized intelligence layer
- Pure dashboarding or BI tools that rely entirely on external data sources
These tools do not address signal collection, ownership, or interpretation at the creative or brand-asset level.
