Our why

A great team is what drives the success of a company.

Companies need to continuously make good decisions to become and remain successful. Good decisions are made by great people when they have the context and feel empowered to make them.

That's why we focus on building a team of great people and creating a culture that enables them to make good decisions.

Here's how we want to create such a mutual beneficial relationship:

A flexible work environment that boosts team productivity and enables the individual

We enable people to structure their day & life individually and foster productivity when working

Many work environments insist on fixed working hours, require you to come to work in a loud open space office and spend there at least 40 hours per week. Such rigid rules kill productivity and puts many people at a disadvantage or worse, excludes them entirely, because they cannot or don't want to compromise on their private life.

We want to get rid of any rules that hinder productivity or make it harder for people to live their private lives. We don't want any of those outdated rules to prevent us from hiring and retaining great people.

We want to find those hidden champions that have outstanding impact but are not valued sufficiently in most work environments, because they might be most productive & happy if they work only 4 days a week, need to take care of a family member during "work" hours or simply want to combine their love for surfing with working by exploring the best surfing spots in Portugal for a month.

That's why we adopt the following guidelines:

Create a diverse team

We believe that diversity in our team is a desirable objective by itself.

In addition, diversity increases creativity by adding new perspectives and fostering a safe environment for all people to express their opinions and give open feedback. Which ultimately leads to better decision making across the team.
