Compact apps enable users to bring mobile experiences to the desktop. These can be useful for creating sort of ‘applets’ that allow you quick glanceable information in a compact format.

Compact apps can be created at creation or enabled by going to Your app name in the menu bar → Request mobile version.  Users can switch apps back to normal/desktop mode by going to Your app name in the menu bar → Request desktop version.
