💼 The Opportunity

Kangaroo's looking for the meme god, storytelling-focused version of the Duolingo Owl. If you don't know the owl we're talking about, this opportunity is probably not for you! This is an incredible opportunity for any person who's highly clued into trends and looking to break into Hollywood, as it would involve working directly with celebrities and franchise owners.

You'll be joining at a very exciting time, as we continue our alpha with Kiernan Shipka and launch new partners (all unannounced, but including some of the biggest names in the world). Day to day responsibilities include:

• Grow our TikTok and Insta accounts by hopping on current trends
• Diving into Twitter land with our (currently not launched) Kangaroo twitter account
• Distilling Kangaroo's complex product (AI stories! Play to earn writing! etc!) into memey social posts that are digestible by fandom followers
• Engaging with users in our Discord and motivate high usage of our product
• Engaging with IP partners (Kiernan Shipka and unannounced other celebrities) during their launch to craft social media posts on non-Kangaroo feeds

💻 What is needed for the role

Minimum qualifications

• Experience with community management either on Discord or social media
• Consistently up to date with social media trends (TikTok trends, Insta layouts, etc)
• Extrovert who loves engaging with people online
• Basic acting skills to use our mocap character in announcements, and desire to create engaging videos

Nice to haves

• Proven ability to massively scale consumer-focused social media accounts
• Active participant in a fandom community and understanding of fandom demographics
