1. Be Kind and Respectful
Treat all members with courtesy. Disagreements are fine—disrespect, passive-aggressive comments, or personal attacks are not. Please also be respectful toward the staff at any venues we visit.
2. No Harassment or Bullying
Harassment in any form—online or in person—is not tolerated. This includes unwanted messages, intimidation, or stalking.
3. Respect Event Hosts and Organizers
Hosts are dedicating time and energy to create great experiences. Please communicate respectfully and honor their decisions around group rules, RSVPs, and attendance.
4. Show Up and Be Considerate
If you can't make it, cancel in advance. Arrive relatively on time, and be respectful of the venues we visit.
5. Event Reservations & No-Show Policy
For events that require reservations and reach capacity, priority will be given to members who have not been flagged as no-shows at previous events. No-shows are only flagged when a member RSVPs “Yes” but does not attend and fails to update their RSVP or notify the host or organizer ahead of time via message.
We have a 3-strike policy: after three no-shows, members may be removed from the group. This helps us ensure fairness and respect for hosts and other members who are eager to attend.
👉 Note: While Meetup+ members receive perks from Meetup itself, they do not receive priority on event waitlists in this group. We follow the standard system of prioritizing those who signed up first to the waitlist, based on attendance history—not paid subscription tiers—to keep things fair for everyone.
