<aside> 💡 NOTE: notes from the CC have a hard deadline. They need to be shipped within 6 hours after the meeting ends.

To prepare before taking the notes, go to the Meeting Notes page and open last week's notes. Duplicate the document. Empty it and start taking notes there. Update needed info, such as date.

It's always good to write who says what. You may want to color-code their names in your notes if you want for easier reading.

Calls are stream and recorded, available to watch on demand on BanklessDAO's Twitch.

People presenting in the call take notes before and during the call. You can generally copy-paste this into your notes, and add additional notes in your document. Notes taken by presenters are typically in a Google Doc that is shared in either the #cc-links or #cc-info Discord channel. As of 10/22 this was changed to Google Slides. During the call, people also post useful resources on #cc-links you might want to add in the notes.

When finished taking notes, there are two more steps to follow:

  1. Paste the notes' link in the #cc-links Discord channel so everyone can check them out.
  2. Go to the Weekly Rollup Newsletter page and search for the latest newsletter. Open it, and near the bottom you'll find a "Call to Action" section. In there, look for the following text "Catch up: Review this week's community call notes or listen to the recording." Here, you have to add the link to the notes you just took, and the URL of the Twitch recording for the session.
