Sometimes after moving to Sessions, clients have a previous balance that you want to collect a payment for. Since these payments aren't tied to a session, there is an alternate flow for collecting them.

Processing a Payment Not Tied to a Session

First, go to the client's Pending Bills page. You'll see a "+ New Bill" button when there's no billable sessions available (if there are, clicking on the pending bills button will do the same thing).

From there, if there's no billable sessions, you'll get to this screen:

Clicking on "Add a Product" in within the table or the button in the top-right corner gets to the modal where you can add a product (either a per-configured or custom product).

Finally, you can collect payment from the payment screen after saving the bill.
