Collaboration Proposals

Crafting Comprehensive Collaboration Proposals

A collaboration proposal serves as the initial blueprint for your partnership with talent, providing a roadmap for content creation and outlining collaborative terms. Whether tailored to a specific objective or more broadly defined, proposals are instrumental in aligning the bran goals with the creator’s process.

Proposal Process Overview

Step One: Establish Deliverables

The first step of the proposal is pivotal, encompassing an overview of collaboration specifics, required deliverables and pricing consideration. Key aspects to include are:

For example messages, click here.

Step Two: Set the Schedule

Set clear timelines for deliverables, including submission for approval and publication dates.

Step Three: Link the Materials

This tab is where you generate trackable links for talent and upload any relevant materials for the campaign.

Step Four: Provide Rates & Codes

In the Rates & Codes tab you can view all the materials associated with your proposal. Click Submit Collaboration Request when you’re ready.

Step Five: Final Review

In the Final Review tab, examine all the materials associated with your proposal. Click Submit Collaboration Request when you’re satisfied.

Step Six: Content Approval

Upon accepting a proposal or initiating a collaboration, you will wait for the creator to submit content. Track the content status on the deliverables tab.

To review associated content click See Uploads, assess the content and proceed to Approve Content if satisfactory. For revisions, communicate your requirements via the chat function, easily accessible at the top of the collaborations tab.

Step Seven: Links & Analytics

You’ll be able to attach trackable links to a collaboration in order to track the number of conversions from links that a creator may share on IG stories, YouTube captions and more.

Note that you can create links on behalf of the creator, but only if you include it in the proposal submitted to the creator. If you are working on a collaboration where links were not included in the proposal or the proposal was sent to you by the creator, then the trackable links must be added by the creator. Either links (for example: https://myshlf.us/p-344298) or collection links (for example: https://shopmyshelf.us/collections/18616) can be attached to a collaboration.

Content Performance

Creators link their social content to provide social engagement metrics. A summary displaying views, engagements, clicks, and order volume is prominently featured for comprehensive performance evaluation.
