When the great Fracture shattered the unity of the world, the Eternals found themselves changed, more defined, more individual. No longer universal forces, they took on distinct personalities, goals, and domains.

Each Eternal’s essence crystallized into divinity. from primal forces emerged beings now known as gods and goddesses, powerful entities embodying elements, ideals, or virtues. Velari began worshiping them not only out of reverence but also necessity, seeking favor, guidance, or protection in a world of now uncertain.

In the immediate aftermath of the fracture, the Velari split into factions, each gravitating toward the newly-formed divine figures that resonated with their beliefs and values. This, the first pantheons arose.

Pantheon of Light and Flame

Worshiped by those who valued passion, clarity, honor, and ambition. Their followers believed enlightenment and strength came through trials, challenges, and fiery dedication.

Pantheon of Tide and Memory

Her followers saw wisdom in the reflections of the past, revering water as the holder of life’s memories. Scholars, historians, healers, and seafarers flocked to her worship.

Pantheon of Stone and Order

Followers were pragmatic, disciplined, and industrious, building cities out of stone, creating strong social hierarchies, and seeking order above chaos.

Pantheon of Wind and Freedom

Attracted wanderers, explorers, artists, and rebels, those who valued freedom above all. Her worshipers lived nomadic lifestyles, refusing to be bound by borders or rulers.
