Motorway for dealers › Code of Conduct

Contact-free car purchasing through Motorway

Updated 18th Jan 2021

This Code of Conduct is designed for buyers on the Motorway platform, with guidelines on how to inspect, collect and purchase cars safely and contact-free, given the current coronavirus situation.

The aim of these guidelines is to ensure a safe transaction for sellers and buyers, and to minimise the spread of coronavirus. Our objective is to continue offering a great experience for everyone involved.

By making offers for cars and transacting with private sellers through Motorway, you are agreeing to adhere to this Code of Conduct.

There are guidelines here for home collection (where the buyer collects vehicles from a seller’s home or work address), and for drop-off situations (where sellers drive to drop the vehicle off at your premises to complete the transaction). We also include other advisory points for sellers and dealers.

We will keep you informed if our Code of Conduct changes.
