What changed

Sam clarified that the issue was canceling the old Cloudways subscription and its approximately $90/month tag, and that cancellation could not proceed while apps were running.

Cloudways refused to delete app 5551832 because it was the only application on old server 1469735. The app-delete response said the only app on a server cannot be deleted.

Because the billing blocker was the server itself, old server 1469735 was deleted through the Cloudways API.

• App 5551832 had no CNAME and was not marked production.

Public live checks immediately before deletion:
