Introduction

I’ve always loved Star Wars and Football. With my father having a Bengals themed Santa Claus outfit (pictured below), I knew I needed to wear something to games. This is where my obsession for 3d printing helmets was born.

3D Printing

Using YouTube videos and my curiosity, I self-taught myself how to do this process. I wasn’t super familiar with 3d Printing, so I ended up diving in head first.

Filling, Sanding and Painting

In order to make up for 3d printer lines, I had to fill in and sand the helmets as I went. To ensure that the end product was smooth and blemish free. This in turn made painting easier since there weren’t random bumps and rough patches.
