The Cleveland Local Food Policy Landscape provides a snapshot of the laws and policies that intersect with and impact Cleveland's food system. The landscape focuses on laws and policies in six overlapping interest areas: Food Access, Land & Water Access, Zoning, Local Food Production, Public Health, and Social Equity. It includes information to help users locate the relevant laws and policies and offers brief summaries of key features. The Landscape provides a general overview of relevant laws and policies as of November 2024, and it is not an exhaustive list of all local food policies. The Landscape is not a substitute for legal advice or the official laws and policies.
The Cleveland Local Food Policy Audit complements the Local Food Policy Landscape by providing answers to specific questions about Cleveland's food ecosystem across the same overlapping interest areas as the Landscape. The Food Policy Audit provides general responses to a series of questions about the food ecosystem as of November 2024, and it is not a substitute for the content of the official laws and policies.
