The clarity score can vary according to the design category. For example, Landing pages tend to have higher score ratings related to dashboards home pages. The interpretation of the Clarity Score can be subjective and lose its importance. That's why we shipped Clarity Ranges for Desktop 🎉

What are these scores?

Clarity Ranges are the recommended range for your design's clarity score. They are dependent on a specific category and the type of design. They are visible only for Desktop designs:

Category

The design category represents the identity of the page's content. The full list of supported categories is shown in the image below.

Type

The type of design refers to whether your screen represents an Above the Fold (or 1st Screenful) section or an Entire Page (from top to the far bottom).

Note:

It's logical that the type "Entire page" scores less than the respective "Above the Fold" section. since it includes far more content/information.
