Coded answer sheets are downloadable pdf files that you can create to use for candidates to write their answers on.
Our website identifies your candidates by their Code at the bottom of the sheets, and the scanned completed scripts will match to the correct candidates when uploaded back into our system. The candidates' Codes are sliced off the images once they are uploaded to the site, to ensure that the judging is anonymous.
What are the advantages to using Coded answer sheets?
1. You can upload your scans in one pdf file, and don't have to worry about splitting your scans into separate pdf files (unless the file is too big to upload in one go), or identifying candidates within the scans.
2. The judging is anonymous, as none of the sheets display the candidate identifiers on screen when they are being judged.
3. For in-house tasks that you have set up, you can customise the answer sheets in any way you wish, e.g. lined or unlined, one page or multiple pages.
4. Your results will be automatically matched to each pupil's details - ID, name, gender and date of birth.
