Your blog is a unique publication on the internet and your Blog’s URL is the address that helps people find it.

With a SportsBlog you can choose what comes after the .com that tells people where to find your blog:

The name of your blog and your Blog URL are different. Your blog’s name is what shows up in the header of your blog:

You can use your Blog URL to build links to your blog from other websites, to post about your blog on social media. You can put in on merch and business cards, or in your email signature. Anywhere that you want people to be able to easily find or link to your SportsBlog.

Choosing your blog’s URL

If you don’t have a SportsBlog yet, you will choose your URL when you create it. If you have already created your SportsBlog you can change your blog URL from your Blog Settings (see below for changing your blog’s URL).

Here are some simple tips when choosing your Blog URL:

  1. The Blog URL you choose has to be unique. No other SportsBlogs can be using the same URL.

  2. Your URL can be whatever you want, but a good URL will:

  3. Blog URLs are limited to certain characters. A Blog URL can only contain:

  4. It cannot contain special characters or spaces.
