Volunteer Role

• Volunteers supervise children for safety, not to discipline.
• Volunteers follow designated areas and age guidelines.
• Volunteers communicate politely with parents regarding any concerns.

Parental Responsibility

• Parents remain ultimately responsible for their children at all times.
• Parents should explain rules to their children before attending.
• Parents are encouraged to stay nearby or available if needed.

For Children & Parents:

1. Stay in the designated childcare areas.
2. Listen to volunteers – they are there for safety, not discipline.
3. Be respectful to others: calm voices, kind words, gentle hands.
4. Parents should explain rules and be available if needed.

Child Expectations
