Position Overview
We are seeking an autonomous, service-focused teammate to join our operations team and support the administration of our policies, procedures, and programmes!
This position reports to the Executive Director and assists in all aspects of operations, providing a full range of services for the organization. This includes assisting the senior management to provide leadership and direction regarding personnel functions.
Duties:
- Work closely with Executive Director on managing operations
- Co-ordinates GEI operations and initiatives with other Department heads
- Keep track of bookings and communication regarding scheduling, and reports to Executive Director
- Oversee GEI programs and employees
Qualifications & Skills:
- Eligible to work in the UK
- In depth knowledge about environmentalism or sustainability expected
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
- Prefer London area residents
- A minimum BA./BSc. degree or currently studying as a senior student
- Expert knowledge of the environmental world's workings and parlance.
- Experience communicating with high-level professionals
- Superior written and verbal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Discretion about confidential matters
- Proficient with full MS Office Suite, Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom
