Cheorwon DMZ Peace Tour is an organized tour program near DMZ operated by Cheorwon-gun county.

- The tour has 3 destinations inside the Civilian Control Zone and ends in front of the old uthentic building of Korean Workers' Party Headquarters.
- The 2nd Infiltration Tunnel was built in the early 1970s and detected in 1974. The military tension between two Koreas was at the highest level from the late 1960 to the early 1970s. The US and SK military authorities estimated that NK built about 20 tunnels then.
- At Peace Observatory, you can see beautiful views of the well-preserved natural environment of the DMZ as well as the military facilities of South and North Korea.
- Woljeong-ri Station is the last station on the Seoul-Wonsan line in South Korea. The phrase “Iron Horse Wants to Run” was famous among Koreans as an expression of hope for reunification.
- Cherwon was called the Iron Triangle during Korean War because of its strategic importance connecting East to West area and North and South area. The tour was also very symbolic as it was first developed as a SECURITY TOUR COURSE in the 1980s, which is now called PEACE TOUR.
