Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Lorsu OY ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the ChefExtract mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect:

Email address — when you register with email/password
Google profile information (name, email, profile picture) — if you sign in with Google
Account identifiers — a unique user ID assigned through authentication

Guest Use

If you use the App without creating an account, a temporary anonymous session is created. No personal information is linked to this session. The session is local to your device and is discarded when you sign in or uninstall the App.

Recipe Content

Recipes you extract and save are stored in our database, linked to your account. This includes recipe text, ingredients, steps, notes, and any thumbnail images you associate with a recipe.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to ChefExtract Pro, your subscription status is managed by RevenueCat. We receive limited subscription state information (e.g. active/expired) but do not store your payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple.

Analytics and Diagnostics

We may collect standard analytics data such as app usage statistics, device type, operating system version, and crash reports. This helps us improve app performance and stability.

Content Submitted for Extraction

When you extract a recipe, the URL, image, or text you submit is sent to our backend and processed by Google Gemini AI. We do not permanently store the raw input content you submit for extraction beyond what is necessary to complete the request.
