Bat Cam Tips

Picture 1: this is where to put the camera when you want to change the batteries. It’s in front of the Keyboards and it is hanging a little lower for easier access on the ladder.

Picture 2: this is where to park the camera after the worship set and before the sermon. If it’s hidden behind the light fixture, it’s in the perfect spot.

Resetting the Motor Limits (Sunday Mornings)

  1. Go to the “Nest” by the Baptistry.Look for the orange floor junction box. You’ll see a heavy black extension cord plugged in.
  2. Unplug the black cord. Wait a few seconds… then plug it back in. This resets the motor that moves the camera gimble.
  3. Switch the monitor input to SDI–B.
  4. ✅ Important: Make sure to switch it back to SDI–A before service starts so volunteers aren’t confused.

Set Motor Limits

After power cycles and switching to SDI–B, wait a few minutes — the motor needs to “wake up.”

  1. Flip the direction switch to the “To Crowd” position (up).
