A diagram of the Omega Space Gun (Usually shortened to OSG by natives, also dubbed Osgie by the Che’Stang sports league, who have declared the launch platform its secondary mascot.). Osgy’s chamber sits at the bottom of a sea trench, besides the thermal power plants that power the city.

Though its first scars were earned upon concrete battlements on the outlying areas of the city when the land was usurped from its natives, Che’Stang would not bear many more scars until the second corporate war. Where the conflict remained almost distant until the rise of PHMC against the Confederacy.
But before that, the city was a marvel in of itself. Built to be the developing arterie to drive humanity to the stars again, Che’Stang houses massive logistics hubs and launch facilities one can see from any spot in the city. Its ports, for air, sea, and space, would unload great cargo haulers that descended from orbit, and load their raw matter into ships and trains that would circulate it all throughout the planet to fuel Humanity, and just at the same time, personnel and machinery would be loaded right back to the starships to fuel the takeover of the endless expanse.
The formerly formidable logistical and industrial muscle is still apparent, though atrophied and necrotizing, many of the factory complex of Che’Stang still function, though large swathes of the city’s industrial sectors remain derelict from bombardment, and wanton destruction, the sight of burnt buildings or craters besides fully functioning factory complexes is a common one.
The city is built concentrically around the bay, forming a massive ring of structures around its water port, though more recently the city has seen its waterfront properties refurbished for tourism and housing, this beachfront property is promoted by the current government, and a small slice of the city, with pleasant architecture and many cafeterias and restaurants packed besides hotels.
Just beyond the meager beaches of Che’Stang stands the necrotic titan that would fuel a great leap into space. The Cheyenne space launch array and its crowning jewel. Grand rusting megastructures, rings of steel floating on the waves, made to launch any and all spacecraft ever designed by mankind, the seawater below taking the brunt of the mightiest of space engines. The 32 launch platform array finds itself bordering a sea trench, named after the city, Che’Stand trench houses the ‘Omega’ space gun, an oil rig connected to an underground railgun of monstrous proportions that once launched satellites into space.
Half of the array is derelict, one can see massive damage to the structure and holes punched right through the massive launch area, and the other half is barely maintained. At night, all the launch pads light up, and are often regarded as a rather enjoyable view from the balcony of a hotel.
