About: Charlie Herndon is a writer from North Carolina, who moved to Los Angeles to pursue screenwriting. He works in the movie business, as much as he can, but mostly just when they let him. Some of his industry jobs have included being production assistant on Dune: Part Two, and the Captain America/Black Panther video game. But he mostly cares to write, and to show off his writing online. Since the age of seventeen, he has written scripts to feature films, plays, short films, and more. (Some have even gotten made!) He also writes reviews, nonfiction essays, and speculative science fiction. He currently is inspired by, and writes about: environmentalism, world travel, electronic dance music culture, the opioid epidemic in the South in the 2010s, and mostly, his own modern, queer, Gen-Z life. He is currently on the road traveling to the East Coast to relocate to New York, and documenting his experiences. He will concurrently be spending this transitional time in the Carolinas and Europe, as well.
