Every actor that appears on the VN stage needs a portrait configuration. This page covers how to set standing images, create expression groups, configure lip sync, and link interaction journals.
Open any Actor Sheet and click the VN Portrait Config button in the header bar (smile icon). The configuration window opens at 780x720 and is resizable.
The standing image is the full-body character art displayed on the VN stage. By default, the module uses the actor's token/portrait image.
The Scale slider (below the standing image) adjusts the character's size on stage. Range is 0.30x to 3.00x, default 1.00x.
Expression groups let you organize character expressions by outfit, mood set, or form. Each group has its own standing image, scale, and set of expression images.
A default group is created automatically when you first open the config. To add more groups:
Each group contains:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Label | Display name for the group (double-click to rename) |
| Standing Image | A group-specific standing image that overrides the main one when this group is active |
| Scale | A group-specific scale override (0.30x to 3.00x) |
| Expressions | A list of expression images with labels |
