"Oh...… It's been a while. You must be leaving now.”

"I'm someone who wanders here and there anyway. Why do you look like you’ve been thrown out on the streets?”

The fortune teller’s gaze scanned Ennid, and he clicked his tongue before Ennid could answer.

“You’re caught up in big trouble, huh?”

"What?”

"Don't worry, though; a person much greater than the man you are cursing at in your mind will protect you.”

Sounds like nonsense. Ennid laughed with an ambiguous face. The fortune teller continued, as if he didn't care about Ennid's thoughts.

"Well, your ability stabs the sky, but you have lived without seeing the light because of your origin.”

He was right. But Ennid was not surprised. He thought of the fortune teller's words as a kind of encouragement to 'cheer up since you’re talented'. Of course, he did not show off and responded to the fortune teller's words.

"Wow, that’s right. You can even see that?”

"Of course I can see it! But you don't have to worry about that either. It's just that it's not the time. Soon there will be a day when you will fly with your wings spread out. The one who will marry you will help you reach such heights.”

His marriage partner... Ennid smiled without expressing. Instead, he searched his pocket and handed over some money.

"It's your fee. Please take it."

Ennid didn't believe in divination or anything, but he thought it would be nice to help a fortune teller who had to travel a long way.

The fortune teller looked at the nine silver coins that Ennid gave without saying anything. His face became devoid of expression at the sight of the silver coins, making the fortune teller’s rugged face look even scarier, which gave Ennid a shock. Wouldn't it be the kind of face a murderer might have when encountered in an alleyway? Ennid truly thought so.

"It's the first time I've received this kind of kindness since I left the castle."

The little murmur subtly changed in tone.

"Your heart is generous. Let me speak to you candidly."

The fortune teller's eyes turned odd. The fortune teller was speaking, for sure, but Ennid felt as if he were listening to someone else.

"You will encounter a young man with a curse. One who moves between a child and an adult. One who will rule the eastern continent. Save him. Unleash his curse. He is the one who will put wings on your back."
