Abstact:

This chapter describe basic operations and properties of projective geometry. We understand projective geometry from representations to special objects in projective space (Ideal points or line at infinity).

Objective:

  1. Understand 2D projective space with point, line and conics
  2. Understand hierachy of 2D projective transformations
  3. Understand 1D projective space with cross ratio
  4. Recover up to affinity with line at infinity
  5. Recover up to similarity with circular points
  6. Understand Projective transformation with SVD and eigen decomposition.

Prerequisite:

Linear algebra, Cross product, Equivalence class(relation) in set theory, small group theory.
