Celebrating winter holidays & end of the year remotely
Curious to know what is everyone doing for holidays and the end of the year? Do you host virtual parties? End of the year retreats, goal planning workshops? Are you sending gifts to your employees? Or perhaps taking a whole week off as a company? How are you celebrating diversity?
We personally did a virtual Christmas party and a talent show that was sent it async and voted on. Top prize got a trip to anywhere on planet earth post pandemic and we also gave out a bunch of smaller cash prizes.
How did you vote async? We've done a talent show 3 times now and had to abandon Slido for voting as people were voting more than once.
We've not done anything in particular - we had a virtual gathering in November, then an optional Secret Santa exchange.
We sent out custom Christmas sweaters to everyone, a secret Santa gift exchange and today we reveal our presents, guess a secret Santa and enjoy a pubquiz.At the end of the week, I sent out customized virtual Christmas card with a personal poem.Last week we sent out personalized virtual Christmas cards for our customers as well. @Vera Lakmaker and @Melissa Mauk any idea on cost per person? I had a lot of people tell me that they’ve spent a lot more on holiday parties this year because they aren’t doing a an in person retreat.
