Introduction

We've really enjoyed our initial conversations that we've had with you so far. We'd like to explore further and like to test you on a case.

The goal is to work on a data case study similar to what you could be working on at Spendesk. It's to provide you a sense of real life daily business problems we face with finding solutions. The take home case study is testing your business and data acumen, communication skills, technical, analytical skills etc.

If you have any question of the brief, please don't hesitate to ask.

Presentation of the case: 1 hour in person

Case: 3-hour take home

The case is about user satisfaction at Spendesk.

Using the tool of your choice, you should try to answer the questions and create a presentation to demonstrate your ideas and present to the Research and Insights team.

You should spend only 3 hours and no more, to complete the case study. Please send back your materials to your Recruiter.

For your presentation, you'll have time to dig into the details and ask pertinent questions about your work product and relevant questions pertaining to your study.

Tools required:

Feel free to use whatever tool you are proficient in to analyse. We can provide you with an access to Metabase, a tool you can use if you prefer. In Metabase you can basically write SQL against our database and do visualisations on top of queries results.

Please let us know if you need access to Metabase :)

Context:

At Spendesk, we deeply care about our customers' satisfaction. We are a customer-first company, we have a well-staffed care team, and many customer success managers that are the main point of contact for our customers.

We survey our customers regularly using NPS surveys, and our current NPS is around 50, which is good but we'd like to improve it to be world class.
