CarryEgg (“we”, “our”, or “the extension”) is a Chrome extension that helps users package chat content into a clean, portable format (e.g., for copying or saving as a Markdown file).
CarryEgg does not collect, store, or sell personal information such as names, email addresses, or passwords.
By default, the extension does not transmit your data to our servers.
CarryEgg may access content on supported pages only to perform the user-requested function (e.g., extracting content from the current page to generate an “egg” summary or Markdown output).
CarryEgg does not store your chat content on our servers.
If the extension stores any settings locally (such as preferences), it is stored locally in your browser and can be removed by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data.
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
We do not share user data with third parties except where required by law.
CarryEgg may request permissions necessary to function (e.g., reading the current page’s content after you activate the extension). We use permissions strictly to provide the extension’s core functionality and nothing else.
We take reasonable measures to minimize data access and ensure the extension only processes what is needed to perform user-requested actions.
