Welcome! On this page, you'll find information about our panelists, including photos, job titles, and biographies. The panelists for this event are all recent undergraduates from UCLA, and are super excited to be able to share what they've learned about their career paths since their graduation date. Underneath the panelist biographies, you can find resources to help you get involved in internships and jobs in the field of sustainability.

Those of us in the ResLife Sustainability Office wanted this project to come alive to service those who are unsure of where life is taking them, but know they want their career to be in the field of sustainability. It is our hope that by the end of this panel event, our audiences will have a better feel for the ground beneath them and feel more ready to take on the world in their future career. We hope to see you there!

 **Elias Platte-Bermeo**

</aside>

Elias attended UCLA where he worked for the Housing Sustainability Manager, Erin Fabris, and was involved with a number of student sustainability organizations. After graduating in 2019 with a degree in Geography/Environmental Studies, he began working at USC where he's now helping launch the university's 2028 Sustainability Plan, completing USC's first STARS Report, and coordinating programming to educate students and staff on all aspects of sustainability.

Valeree is an environmental justice advocate, illustrator and sustainability professional who graduated from UCLA 2019 with an Environmental Science major. She is currently a Sustainability Specialist at Dolby Laboratories building their global sustainability program with a focus on sustainability reporting, strategy, and employee engagement.

A thorough and thoughtful analyst, Nick has a natural knack for collating and synthesizing information to better understand potential growth opportunities that will drive a successful triple bottom line in the real estate sector. Nick is responsible for researching novel green building policies, integrating environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) risks and opportunities into investment strategies, and implementing innovative technologies to solve complex ESG challenges at Sustento Group. In his free time, Nick enjoys surfing throughout the California coast.
