What is coaching?

The term "coach" originally comes from English and literally means "carriage". So a coach is the one who helps others to move forward or change. The concept of coaching first became known to a broader public through competitive sport, in which a coach comprehensively supports a competitive athlete, i.e. psychologically and beyond the purely technical and athletic part.

According to the definition of the leading coaching associations, coaching is “professional advice, guidance, and support for people with management/control functions and for experts in companies and organizations. The objective of coaching is the further development of individual or collective learning and performance processes for professional or personal concerns.” (Deutscher Verband für Coaching und Training).

How does 1-1 coaching with me work?

Private career and business coaching is the most personalized service that I offer.

I act as a guide on your journey, help you understand what you want and need from your career or your business, and help you create real-life change so that you can feel happy, motivated, and fulfilled in your career (again).

Every 1-1 coaching is different because it’s 100% tailored to you. With some clients, the focus is more on exploring the inner world of emotions and thoughts and overcoming limiting beliefs that are holding them back in their career progression.

With other clients, the emphasis is on creating a much better understanding of their market and industry, and pointing them to opportunities that they didn’t even think were possible.

Whenever I can I also use my vast network and introduce my clients to valuable contacts and other fellow boss babes that can help them accelerate their trajectory towards success.

In the 1-1 work, I sometimes take on a consultant role if requested. My clients often see me as the go-to person for professional issues and ask me for advice or a personal statement. Consulting is different than coaching and based on expert knowledge that the consultant has for a specific professional context. In a consulting context, the client uses the professional and personal experience of the consultant in order to find a concrete solution to the problem quickly.

What kind of coach am I?

I’m always making my best effort to be the coach that you need at that very moment.

I’m trained to hold space for you and support you throughout a spectrum of emotions and situations:
