Campout Coordinator Checklist
◻ Approve budget with Committee Chair Campsite fee, special programs and supplies (raft rental, MREs, etc.)
◻ Get campsite reservation with Activity Coordinator Reserve early, good locations book fast
◻ Update web site with Webmaster Link to directions, list of activities, special gear needed, etc.
◻ Program planning with ASMs and PLC Plan activities, advancement, theme for campout Work with scoutmaster and scout leadership
◻ Attend committee meetings prior to the campout Provide updates to committee Is there preparation required at troop meetings? (e.g. Safety Afloat training, cold weather camping)
◻ Find a Grubmaster
◻ Start sign-up sheet for troop meetings Start one month prior to campout SPL can make announcement May need to ask SPL to pass sheet around
