You may choose to either create a campaign with a single slot, or multiple slots (to allow for different media to play at different dates during the overall campaign).
Every campaign requires at least one 'campaign slot'. A slot allows you to upload media and assign it to the campaign. The slot may have just one piece of media assigned, or can have multiple items assigned to it - although the campaign will only use one Inventory position in the playlist, so to move through all of the content listed, the player will either cycle through the content, or randomly shuffle the media (one media item per loop).
Slots are also useful to allow 'teaser' campaigns to be created. Dates within the campaign can be selected for start/end dates for a slot, enabling content to be scheduled to reveal the final media for a product launch or similar.
Finally, slots are also useful at linking similar content together. This is especially useful for long-term campaigns (like brand-led media), or for Filler content. Slots allow this functionality.
To create a single slot campaign, press ‘Create Campaign’ from the sidebar menu.
To create a campaign with multiple slots, press ‘View Campaigns’, then at the top right corner, click + Create Campaign.

Choose your start and end date of the Campaign.
Type - Choose the Campaign type applicable to this campaign.
Image - Not required, but allows you to visualise the campaign when viewing the list
Client - This allows you to choose the client account who owns the campaign to assist with tracking. In addition, the client can also be invited to upload and manage their own content for any campaigns assigned to them.
(option) Filler Content - If you are using the option in your players for a fixed number of inventory spaces, DOOHAd will allow campaigns to be assigned up to the maximum number set for each screen. Any inventory spaces which are not filled, DOOHAd inserts filler content to pack out the playlist to the same fixed length for every loop. If this campaign is not a 'sold' advertising campaign but is in fact a filler campaign, you need to enable the option here so that the campaign can be used as filler and does not utilise an inventory slot when assigned to a player.
Then, press Save
The campaign will be created with a single slot, playing for the campaign dates selected above, and you can then choose the media you require to play in that slot (SEE UPLOADING MEDIA TO A SLOT, below).
If however you have chosen to have multiple slots, you will now need to make the slots.
Once you have created a campaign, you need to setup how the campaign will operate.
Once a Campaign is created, you then need to create a slot.

IMPORTANT
It is at this stage you may choose to complete the process of uploading the media to the slots if you have the media, or you can choose to assign the campaign to the appropriate players and invite the client the campaign is assigned to to then manage the media themselves. If you wish to assign the content to the players, visit the next part on the previous document.
Once a slot has been created, then you will be able to upload your media files to the slot/s.
Click on Manage Media in the slot view, this will then show you the media files which are in the slot, as well as a view of all media that has ever been uploaded and visible by you (any content in your organisation or if you are a client, just you).
From here, you can upload new media to DOOHAd for your campaign, or use existing media.
To upload new media, either click the + or drag your media file to the upload area. The file will be selected and you need to then press the upload icon (the one on the lower left of your new file) to upload it to the servers. Once uploaded, DOOHAd will check the integrity of the file and if it is a video, it will transcode it. Transcoding will take a few seconds to a few minutes before you can use the file (although you can leave this screen at this point and return back once complete).
File types supported
To add media, click on the + sign and select a file, or drag-and drop the file you want to upload onto it. Currently DOOHAd supports the following file formats:
Once you have selected the file you wish to upload, you will see thumbnail of the media and two icons - the one to the right (trashcan) cancels the upload, the one to the left (arrow) uploads the file to your media collection. Click the left icon and you will see the upload progress on the bar.
During upload, you must stay on this screen.
Once your media is uploaded, you will see it in your media collection. If it is a video, you will see a spinning wheel signifying that the media is being transcoded for use. Depending upon the size and length of the file, this usually takes a few minutes - you can browse away from this page or upload more media as this process occurs.
Once the media is available for use, you can preview it by clicking the thumbnail.
Normally, files must be the fixed size as defined in your campaign type settings (often 1080 width x 1920 height). If you untick the 'Enforce default dimensions' in the camapign type settings, this will allow you to drag onto the slot media of any size and shape. This is often not ideal, as the output will be fixed and any content that does not match the dimension may get stretched or otherwise distorted, or even fail to upload at all in some cases - although in cases where there are mutiple playout resolutions (e.g. 4K and HD), or the supplier of content provides lower resolution content in the same aspect it can be beneficial to allow the player to rescale it.
DOOHAd does not worry about most file types, as graphics (JPEG, PNG) are supported (note they must be RGB for most players, not for print use), and videos (AVI, MOV, MP4, h.264) are supported and transcoded if necessary upon upload. You should check that the player supports any native filetypes uploaded.
Next, drag the uploaded file/s onto the Slot media files section
You can add as many files to the slot as required, ensure you enabled Sequential when slot was created.
Then, click Save.
