No one expects you to know everything, so don't try. Even if you do know everything🙄, you might not get the chance to talk about it, like we saw in the "Write for One Person" tip. Keep your writing focused, and use hyperlinks to point readers to more resources about a subject. The resources can be external (like other authors), or internal (like company documentation).

See what I did there? I mentioned the name of the tip, because my ideal audience is people who have read that tip. Still, I linked to it, because there's a possibility my actual audience might not have seen it. That's how you use "reinforcements".

Using links does two things:

• You can focus on your main topic, while providing helpful material for readers who need more foundation.
• You don't have to know all about everything you mention in your article. Write about the parts you know and provide links so curious readers can learn more.

As always, there's a balance. Too many links in your post will distract readers, so pick your links wisely.
