Original design for Cortes Island School Merchandise
The Cortes Island School PAC are seeking original two-dimensional design submissions from individual artists or artist teams to be printed on merchandise sold by the Cortes Island School PAC.
We request generative AI to NOT be used in the creation of this design.
The chosen design will best reflect the natural landscape of Cortes Island, including local plant life and animals, as well as the unique characteristics of our school.
Original artwork must be suitable for print reproduction and include “Cortes Island School” in the design. High contrast designs with solid colours and simple clean lines are most appropriate.
The selected original design will be printed on merchandise sold to raise funds for the Cortes Island School PAC. This merchandise will include, but not be limited to — sweatshirts, T shirts, and stickers.
Our students have been consulted and voted on which characteristics of our island best represent them. Special priority will be given to designs that incorporate their choices.
The PAC will include an artist statement about the chosen work, as well as promotional information about the chosen artist/artist group wherever the work is sold.
