Calico grew up in Orzammar and worked in the Shaperate for years. Until someday, her friend Valta went missing, and she was old enough to realise this place was filled with corrupted people, trying to change and erase history. She decided to leave for the Surface, give up her Shaper caste and cut ties with her family to explore the rest of Thedas, looking for answers to her eternal questions. Exploring every possibilities, she quickly found a tie between her culture and the elven. In lyrium and magic. Stories and artifacts. When her travels lead her to Veil Jumpers, she joined them on their mission.
