We’ve created a replicable estimate of the number of redemptions from the BCT pool by Toucan-affiliated accounts. x

Here you can find an iPython Notebook with data queried from The Graph. We’ve made the notebook commentable, and invite you to copy it and edit if you’d like to analyze or explore the data.

The process involved:

• Download BCT pool redemption events from The Graph
• Tag redemption transactions sent from Toucan-affiliated accounts
• Filter so only redemptions from 2012+ are included (i.e. NCT-compatible TCO2s were redeemed)
• Sum redeemed tokens to get 1137005.52 total 2012+ tokens redeemed

We recognize that this is not the number we reported after the mass rebalancing event. That number was estimated based on data entered manually from Polygonscan, and we believe it was incorrectly estimated. Most important is to get the accurate number and ensure that the right amount of value is returned. This notebook provides a straightforward way to verify the number of redemptions.
